Wonder why I haven't posted in a while?
On Labor Day I went to the Clemson vs. FSU game. Heather stayed at Jay & Jennifer's to watch the kids. We came home at 2:00AM to find water pouring out of our garage ceiling. The hose that supplies water to the toilet had popped and there is no telling how long the water ran. Our bathroom is directly above the garage. Our bathroom and closets were flooded, the garage was destroyed and the hardwood floors in the kitchen buckled.
To make a long story short, we have been dealing with the cleanup/remodel for about 2 months. It's been really hard trying to live out of spare bedrooms and keep Koen away from all of the building materials.
Since we had so much to repair, we figured it would be a good time to redo our kitchen while we were at it. So we've been eating out this entire time as well. Every time we pass a Chic-fil-a, Koen says "eats, eats!"
Meanwhile, I had a looming deadline at work so the stress level has been pretty high. The remodel is now complete and I just need to finish cleaning up. I'll post the pictures soon. Thanks again to Mom and Jeff for coming this past weekend and helping us!
While I hated seeing the stress you and Heather were going thru I sure did enjoy being able to have Heather and Koen a few nights for dinner!

WoW! What a mess! I just wanted to tell you all that I love you and miss you and cannot believe how big Koen is getting?! I hope you are enjoying watching him grow as much as I am watching Chamberland! It's so much fun being an aunt. Well I hope all is well and I send my love! Talk to you soon, keep the updates coming!
