Little Early

Baby Ryn will need to join us a little sooner than we expected. Her original due date was June 6th.

She’s had a little difficulty gaining weight lately (she’s only 4lb 11oz). During Heather’s appointment this morning the doctors decided she needed to head to the hospital to induce the baby. They told us that other than the low weight, the baby seems to be very healthy. We’ve been told that she may need to stay in the hospital for a while to increase her weight. We checked into Northside Hospital around 3:00 PM and the doctors hope to get the process moving tomorrow morning. We’re actually in the same room where Koen was born!

Luckily Heather’s Mom has been helping us prepare for the baby for the past few days. She’s in a hotel across the street tonight and my Mom and Jeff are at home watching Koen. Heather’s Dad and Susan are at Andra’s and will be here in the morning.

It's 11:20PM and they gave Heather some Ambien so she’s out cold. I’m watching an old Seinfield rerun. I can hear a newborn baby crying in an adjacent room. I’m going to try to get some sleep now. If I have any down time I’ll update you guys.

Mike and I will say a prayer. It is wonderful that you have such wonederful parents to help you both out. We're looking forward to seeing pictures of you new sweetheart. God Bless!
