Ryn's Home

It was hard to leave the hospital without Ryn. Heather was discharged on last Friday night and Ryn had to stay until last Sunday night. She spent a total of five nights in the NICU. They put an IV in her hand, various vital sign monitors on her body, and a feeding tube through her nose. She pulled the feeding tube out twice on her own. By Sunday she was doing well enough to come home.

We've been feeding her every three hours and she's packing on the ounces! She's just over five pounds now. Heather's Mom went back to Huntsville for Mike's 50 birthday party [Happy 50th Mike, sorry we're not there!]. Andra and Dock were nice enough to watch Koen yesterday and today to help us get a little rest. Koen loves spending time with his cousins. [Speaking of cousins, Jessica graduated from UNCC two weeks ago!]

Mom-Mom will return from Huntsville soon and continue to be a life saver! It has been great having her here and we are truly thankful for her help.

We are so happy Ryn is home. I know you are relieved. Heather must be a decorator, your home is beautiful! The nursery a dream in itself. Congratulations on another beautiful baby!

Welcome home, Baby Ryn! You look adorable swaddled and nestled in the charming room Mommy and Daddy created for you. Happy growing! ---- Trygve, thank you so much for taking the time to post the photos and the update in the midst of all your busyness.

I would expect nothing less than the most adorable little girl from the two of you! Congrads again, and I will have to come and visit soon! Maybe a cousin family reunion! (That would be intresting!)
